WTF?

Good news? Mullowney telling Proactive the numbers including 14.0 meters (m) grading at 3.48 grams per tonne (g/t) gold on the Eastern Porphyry and 2.94m grading at 13.74 g/t gold from Anfield continues to show the potential for resource expansion.

Bad news? TRX Gold Announces US ATM Offering

Why is ATM bad news? It just means they won't sell shares at a discount to market and no warrants. There must be a demand for share. Market makers will do what they do and price will rise and fall because of speculators getting in or out. Stock is still illiquid so large price swings can happen on volume buys and sells. The results are fantastice. Anfield and EP could be as big as Buckreef ...more

You can be absolutely certain that both Barrick and Anglo-Ashanti - both of whom have nearby operations - are watching this like two hawks as this story keeps unfolding. I suspect they'll wait for a PEA on Anfield and EP's potential before whipping out their chequebooks, but one or the other - or both - will be showing up quickly thereafter.
