In 2008

I bought Orezone at 19 cents US. I thought the stock market had bottomed but it had more to go down and the stock fell as low as 12 cents. Then Iamgold acquired them for a stock swap and spinoff valued at 55 cents. Maybe miners will sell off with the rest of the stock market but I am not selling TRX

Hello slideintofirst, in 2008... I think it has been shown that, in baseball, sliding into first base is slower than running and is to be avoided. So I guess that makes me contrary. Thanks for the reply.

With all due respect, Sir, I suppose it depends on if you are trying to beat out a bunt, or were leaning to hard to second base (thinking of stealing) and now trying to get back!LOL  As far as investing is concerned, I also am a contrarian.  Come to think of it, I never went with the "masses," as that was a warning sign for me, and I high - tailed it in the other direction as ...more
