Terry Harbort's Talisker Resources Ltd. (TSK) rose one cent to 54 cents on 119,000 shares. The company signed deals with two companies earlier this year to have ore from its Bralorne deposit in central British Columbia processed. In mid-March, New Gold Inc. (NGD: $2.55) agreed to buy up to 350,000 tonnes of ore, and a month later, Talisker signed a milling agreement with Nicola Mining Inc. (NIM: $0.225) to process up to 6,300 tonnes of Bralorne ore.

Today, Talisker signed a contract to move the ore to those facilities. The arrangement, says Mr. Harbort, president and CEO, "is a critical part of our operations." As well, good citizen Harbort cheers that hiring the locals aids the economic development of the area and builds positive working relationships with Indigenous communities in the areas where the company operates.
