Just more empowerment to CFIA for labelling and traceability. If irradiation would have been endorsed it would have been the final nail in coffin for Econiche. Econiche lives for another day.

From what I know when Beef or anything is irradiated it kills all bacteria including the good bacteria that our stomachs need. Think probiotics. It also turns the meat grey and if the meat is now left out, other potential ( possibly harmful) bacteria will multiply excessively and have a field day as there is no competition. GLTA Wussy
