Lost opportunity during Excel shut down.


When BNC snubbed the opportunity of a life time I knew management was dead in the water.


The beef recall created the perfect opportunity to engage the average Canadian. Sure lobbying helps but you have to back it up -  the real power is with the public. Had BNC pursued the obvious, the pathetic announcement this week from CFIA would have sounded very different.

you're right, IMO econiche is done. the feds think their measures are sufficient and they wont EVER change their minds now. bury it out behind the white elephant in Belleville

Cheap...totally disagree , would not be a stretch to revive the whole Econiche pitch. Definitely more difficult without Excel recall fiasco as momentum. Just a matter of time before all of the "extra" inspectors drop the ball. That would trigger the "pounce". Always better to ride a wave.   Then for a mere 20k-250k you could launch a VERY AFFECTIVE push through social ...more
