Is Urocidin dead?

As far as I am aware the last thing we were told about it was that there were 20+ interested partners. Not much different from what we were lead to believe about the number of suitors for Animal Health.

Since the summer of 2013, when the HC meeting went nowhere, we have been told that a meeting was set for December with the FDA. Of course, as is par for Bioniche, that meeting was cancelled without explanation.

I realize that Bioniche has a new CEO, who needs time, but why is he continuing the decade long policy of keeping shareholders in the dark. Was maintaining the contempt and disdain for shareholders part of his employment contract?

In hindsight, I can see why the company wanted to cover up the ever growing disaster with the VMC that led to near bankruptcy and obscene indebtedness, but what is the new management team attempting to shroud? Other that " vote yes or we are bankrupt" how do they intend, assuming they do, to sell this disappointing AH deal to shareholders.

If I knew a company needed to make a deal or go bankrupt, I obviously would offer very little if I were the purchaser.   What are they going to do, say "no"?    They can't say no.   They'd be saying hello to certain bankruptcy.   If we don't have the right people or the monetary power to bring Urocidin to market, I have to ask what the point is of ...more

No takers on the validity of Urocidin? The "management" will very shortly be asking shareholders to vote on giving away their only source of revenue in exchange for debt relief, but shareholders are completely in the dark as to the  value of their only remaining real asset. We can all accept that the 100'mil burned on wthe VMC and Econiche are unrecoverable but Urocidin might ...more
