Conspiracy theory!

I have to believe that BIG Pharma has contacts inside the FDA, (after all it is government). An early tip off that TST will be approved could lead to a pre-emptive strike by the one with the best insider.

I read somewhere on another board that a high level member of the FDA was married to a Hedge Fund manager. Can anyone confirm this?

Do you also think that a Big USA Pharma can also pressure the FDA against a small Canadian Drug developer??

cardu, yes, it is true. Her husband is founder and CEO of the Renaissance fund. I am a shareholder in ARNA and submitted letters of objection(with thousands of other shareholders) to her after Arenas first rejection. However, no conflict of interest was ever voiced to her as her hubbys hedge had a small position in Arena. GL
