Handling of the news release

Overall the release was pretty positive. However, the way in which it was all handled screams of a lack of proper marketing. Why release ALL of this information at once in one news release?

Reading this it sounds like they new about the results of the market potential some time ago. Why then would you choose to release this positive news in the same article that states they're pushing back the FDA submission? They could have done a news release a few weeks ago when the stock was doing well and had settled in the mid 30's. Said news release could have included the new website and the market potential being double what they initally thought. This would have easily pushed the stock price into the low 40's.
Once that news had settled they could have made a release about pushing the FDA sumission back to improve their manufacturing facility. We would have seen a drop in the price but certainly not to the 20s like we have now. This was all handled very amateur hour I'm afraid.

They absolutely did release the results of the market study a couple weeks ago on the 1st. The news was just not enough to send the stock price soaring and certainly didn't push it into the .40s. It was also not enough to overshadow the FDA submission delay. The simple fact of the matter is that without FDA approval, this company is worth next to nothing. No amount of marketing spin is going ...more

Can you point me to this news release that was made public loveshack? Are you telling me there was a news release stating that the market potential for MCNA is 400M and double what was previously estimated? If it was released, it wasn't easy to find. For example, I often check stocks on google financial which always include the latest news articles relating to the company you are searching ...more

It's in the presentation on their website dated 2/1/2015. Here's the link: https://www.telestatherapeutics.com/cms/phpjpCpxr.pdf

"It's in the presentation on their website dated 2/1/2015. Here's the link: https://www.telestatherapeutics.com/cms/phpjpCpxr.pdf" That kind of highlights my point then loveshack. They had a full market analysis done and it concluded that the market fo MCNA was twice as big as previously thought and would reach 400M in the U.S alone. Yet the only place that information was ...more

I agree, I had never seen the information on potential market size before. Was that reported in the release announcing the rejection of Orphan status? another note, Is the company planning on making the findings of the third party evaluation available to shareholders? if they don't how do shareholders make an informed decision on whether to accept a buyout offer? I could have read the release ...more

DamnArod, You read or misinterpruted the release wrong. They didn't state that they have any offers for a buyout/partnership.  What was stated was: "The Company also reported that there is significant 3rd party interest in the MCNA program and that it is in receipt of multiple non-binding expressions of interest..."  This just means that there are companies, or entities ...more

18tee20, they said this later on in that same release: “We will fully evaluate and negotiate the current offers to ensure that if we take the decision to partner MCNA or sell the company at this juncture, that such a decision will capture significant value for our investors.”

Good point, that does make it confusing about current offers or expressions of interest.  I guess I interpret this to mean that they will wait to see if any advantageous offers develop from all of the interested parties after due dilligence before Telesta acts upon what may be the best offer.  Then Telesta will have to  decide whether to proceed ...more

I must have a different release because I am sure that I read something about the CEO saying that they would thoroughly review all current or present offers and let shareholders know if and when once is accepted. That would imply that there are multiple offers on the table today. They would have to be awefully-pathetically  weak for the company to decide to proceed with this submission alone. ...more

Seriously people, take a deep breath and let this play out. My take is that there is a good plan in place and it does not include a sell out or partner unless there is an amazing deal on the table. I have included portions of the Feb 15 release below. “We will fully evaluate and negotiate the current offers to ensure that if we take the decision to partner MCNA or sell the company at this juncture ...more

frogger2, according to the new investor presentation on the website which apparently has yet to be shown to any new investors, there is alot of mention of a buyout or partnership. regardless of how long you have suffered here that should be your hope. If people got wind of their intent to go it alone the SP would drop to a dime or less. If there is not an offer eneticing enough to partner or sell ...more

Yank, you seem to be stuck on long time suffering which is something that I have never mentioned or am concerned about. I'm not sure what the point is of the rest of your comments. You are suggesting what people should hope and what you think will happen to the SP if the company doesn't do what you think they should do, you really have no clue. None of the information is new, Berendt ...more

Excellent points.    Mr DY is one of those types who seemingly cannot learn from others nor can tolerate the fact that his opinions may be in error.   When pressed about his opinions he ends up spitting insults to all those who may disagree with him on even the most tiny point.   It is 2015 and this is the year for Telesta to become what it shall become.... and we have 10 ...more

Expiresoonplease, don't direct your faux frustration at me you phony little SOB. I have said very clearly I am a buyer at 20 cents and out in full at 80. TST just dumped %20 of its already grossly undervalued market cap on that news and you guys are worried about momentum traders??? Really!?, credibility and Committment to Shareholder Value non issues here? What about the management and BOD ...more

Sticks and stones....   So you have a strategy, well  so do I, except I am fully invested now - yet I may add more this week too - but my target is $4 not 80 cents.     I may have a little more patience than you but I still don't get why all the angry insults  to fellow investors?  The BOD is doing what they are supposed to be doing.   Would you be happier if ...more
