Hey Iwillretiresoon it is as simple as this: If you put in a bid and get filled...they only fill first, the lots...in this case it is 500 shares...so if he had a bid in for 550 shares at .35 the seller has to be at the ask at .35 in order to get the odd lot filled...same idea with the offer obviously this guy you are referring to, had a position and a quantity + an odd lot of 50 shares that he
