Bearded vultures....can live on a diet of 70%-90% bone. ........diet is more efficient than a diet of fresh meat because bones have a higher caloric content...........

Vultures urinate on their legs and feet ......helps kill any bacteria or parasites they’ve picked up from walking through the carcasse .....
