John O’Connell BNN

Watched John O'Connell on Bnn today was asked about TVE , indicated was very positive on the energy space generally however had concern with TVE for a lack of Management share ownership and believes they are inclined toward issuing shares and making purchases. hopefully there will be strong and specific guidance  regarding  shareholder returns with Q3 reporting, does anyone else believe Mr. OConnells TVE concerns to be  a deal breaker .

For what it's worth he also said he liked Hiwater Exp, must mean Headwater, so my guess is his interest in energy amounts to watercooler talk at best, wouldn't give it a second thought

Lol!   Highwater?  I heard that too and had to laugh!  Must have meant headwater and has a personal investment there as he wouldn't hold that in fund.  I got the feeling no one was calling in since he is a large cap analyst and was taking a small cap call question which seemed kinda weird.

O'Connell knows very little about the energy sector. The only stock he has held over the years is Kelt Exploration. And it fell from the mid $7's in late 2018 to $0.80 by late March 2020. This might explain why most of his focus is now on the US which is where all of this top picks came from. GLTA

John should do better homework.Go to Peters conference and Brian shares how management compensation has been organized in the company.
