$11.00 share price a year from now ????

According to the release, it's entirely possible. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Initial dividend of $.10 per year represents 7% of AFF.  When debt level targets are met ( by second half 22  they say) they intend to pay out 50% of AFF.  That would be 7 times the initial dividend, or $.70 per share.  At today's share price that equates to 20%. Of course the share price will adjust as the dividend increases.  If we may assume shareholders might be content to hold this stock while collecting a 6.5% dividend, then the price would adjust to the $11 level over time.

This depends on only one thing,  a WTI price of $70.  Currently over $80. I'm betting $70. is the new base.

A great little stock.

Well said, I think WTI will stay in the $70-$80 range next few years....

The 50% return to shareholders after hitting the debt target includes share buybacks, the regular dividend and special dividends.  The regular dividend is not going anywhere remotely close to 70 cents annually.  Maybe 20 - 25 cents by this time next year if oil stays above $80. The initiation of a dividend for the 1st time by a company is one of the better indicators that the share ...more

Maybe I should have included more detail.  I was referring to the $.70 as the aggregate of the benefits of all three, the dividend, plus any special dividends, plus any buybacks.. They spelled it out themselves as 50% of AFF.  Thats also why I did not add anything for divys or ncibs. At any rate I feel this could be a keeper for several years.

Liked the report Clear consise and conservative.Brian is delivering on all fronts. He made it clear that aquisitions are on the table when they deliever value. In Nov we will be added to the indexes bringing in buying pressure and increased share priceThat makes our shares more valuable as a currency for deal making..In Jarrvie we are drilling with Crestwyn and I would think they were an obvious ...more

I think TVE's CEO knows what he is doing and in the long-term a good acquisition would work for me. However, I think it is clear from the reaction to SU's plan relative to TVE's and WCP's, O&G investors do not want the CEO's playing with the excess cash, shareholders want it (either through divy's or share buybacks). I am expecting Q4 results will see another bump in ...more

Thanks. That makes sense and answers my question. I thought the dividend was raised to some extent in the quarterly report, but maybe not as much as investors wanted relative to Suncor's big dividend increase.

Looks like we got our recent land and production in Jarvie from Spur.Sour is the big private dog in the clearwater.Ian Currie is the CEO and also on TVE board. Thus the deal.If we get Crestwyn then we control most of the area.In my last talk with Steve he commented that Jarvie was turning out better than they expected. What that looks like is payouts in six months or less.

A $0.36 SP increase should be expected by Friday. Suncor is up 12% and TVE is adding a VG dividend with stock buy backs just like Suncor. TVE ought to be $4.50 in November.

Looking for under $3.00 in November

Is $3.00 your target for covering and leaving TVE. I ask because when oil goes to $95.00 in January you will be bankrupt.

LOL your comments are too funny Mr. Nugget. You should create a Youtube channel to bash this stock - I will sub you. "The market will punish TVE tomorrow" "Could be $3 in the cards"
