Freelands new budget attacking stock buybacks of energy sector.Same old same old from the liberals,will this lead to increased dividends payout? or will libs attack this discuss.

Until we get rid of the Liberals, I think a more rapid deleveraging and increase in dividends will be the repsonse to this regressive taxation on share buybacks.

Well yes and no re JT and Freeland.   JT and Freeland are trying to position Canada  towards an energy green future with renewables and battery storage technologies powering its energy needs.  That is a global trend but will it replace fossil fuels or will we still be reliant on them until such time as this transition is complete? First of all there is no such thing as "Green Energy". Wind mills that butcher birds is red because of the blood. Hydro dams flood land , kill fish and consume thousands of tons of cement. Solar cells involve the use of forced labour in China and have to be desposed of in land fills when they are done.
