Who bought the shares?

We know that Arc Resource Fund sold 57 million shares. The real question is,who bought them and do they intend on holding them?

The problem with issuing shares to a private equity fund when you acquire their assets is the knowledge that the fund will sell them as soon as possible.  Fund holders usually want liquidity after 5 or more years and publically traded TVE gives them liquidity.  I hope the CFO has found friendly hands for the former ARC shares or they might get dumped on the market again.  They press ...more

You are not kidding.  This may the most undervalued stock on the TSE right now!   I was trying to get some TVE under $4...no luck today for me.  I am buying some at $4.

If you click on " insiders " you will see it shows that Arc has 0 shares as of Feb 10!? Rico

That is very interesting - perhaps there was a behind the curtain deal to allow ARC to liquidate.  At any rate it is always good news to know a private equity fund nearing it's liquidation date is out of your stock.

It was a bought deal transaction with 3 banks taking part. They offer the shares internally to their clients. Likely many retail investors ended up with them. It wasn't a handover of shares from one party to the other.
