Buybacks start tomorrow
Once tve gets the funds from this clearwater infrastructure deal the buy backs should be on. Tamarack was already at the 25% shareholder return target so to me that means that it's possible 25% of the $142 million cash sale goes to buybacks. Also with regards to the 2024 guidance I believe the lower production forecast of 61-63,000 barrels/day reflects the pending sale of its sparky assets which the market is giving no consideration currently. The narrative that tve is losing production at all is false. They are selling production and replacing it with more economic barrels. Taking the money to pay down debt and reinvest it into the best return on investment. After this pending sale to point bar resources of 235 wells, 21 pipelines and 56 facilities I believe we hit the 50% shareholder returns target. Regardless of the pending purchase from cnrl. Tax loss selling is coming to an end and tve has been beaten down. From this price point and a 5% dividend tve is a steal.

They are receiving close to 10% of tve current market cap from the sale and the shareholder target has hit so in my opinion they need to buyback some shares. Brian knows tve was a tax loss target so its time to seize the day. Show the world just how much value they see in tamarack shares.
