Everyone hates this particular energy stock , I dont hold out much hope that the TMX ruling will have much effect on TVE share price , there really seems to be something intrinsically wrong with this company . As far as the company being purchased , just dont see how that works , even at a 50% premium which would be massive and unlikely this would only bring us back to Nov 2023 shareprice levels , ...more

With all the posts crying about management and supposed sellers, has anyone said anything about the price of oil? I know, ridiculous to look at the price of oil, but something to consider. If you all want to cry about something maybe th manipulation of oil down to this price in spite of increasing demand and the Middle East blowing up. Hello, don't know anything about buyers,sellers, Nuttall selling etc etc, I simply refer to management statements about being the lowest cost producer amongst their peers which would seem to indicate a bit more leeway on oil price then others,  however TVE is continually among if not the worst performing stocks in the small/mid cap space , leads me to believe more a company specific issue ...more

this stock is acting the same as alot of the other mid - small caps easy for the algos to run up and down range bound at every level the banks are makeing bank daily on these programs! A few of my holdings during this cycle have been ALGO manipulated just the same milk it milk it milk it so much easier with the volatility minute by minute it seems. Brian takes a big pay day, likely big pay days across the company/board.  They fail to read the room time and time again.  Just pay down debt to an absoluete level, pay a healthy growing (annually) dividend and buyback shares at opportune times (RSI below 30 on the daily).  If they followed this couple sentence strategy I am near 100% sure shareholders would be better off.

Pay attention, they have been paying down debt and as of year end are ready to start putting more free cash flow into buybacks.  I doubt they are planning to increase the base dividend until they reach the lowest tier of debt but I expect buybacks and perhaps a special dividend or two.  Meantime they did a native deal which should open up futrure opportunities.  Their small sales ...more
