Any guesses on AFF tomorrow?

I'm optimistic we'll see over $200m adjusted funds flow tomorrow!! I think production will be on the high end of guidance with favourable benchmark pricing.

Yes, this stock is going to trade sideways until we learn more about the Nipisi outage. I'm hopeful the lost production will be limited to Q2.  Just remember, it won't impact long term growth, just a small temporary set back in debt reduction and share buybacks.  In a year it won't matter at all.

I am not expecting strong Q1 financial results because of low oil prices. Meg reported yesterday its AWB, which is similar to WCS, averaging $21 discount to WTI in Q1. Whitecap earlier reported its light sweet oil selling at a $8 discount in Q1. Both, heavy and light oil discounts were a lot lower in April and since May 1st WCS Hardisty discounts stayed below $12, compared to about $19-$20 in Q1 ...more

Yes, they lost 6 cents per share in the quarter "primarily due to risk management contracts" in a foot note. Is that a derivatives issue? Anybody know what this means? I also note that total debt is the about the same as the end of December, and buybacks in the quarter weren't really that large. They dropped a lot in capital spending. Is that where the money went?

Seems like they have spent 1/3 of the drilling budget which I think is common that drilling is higher in the winter months. The unrealised loss means they hedged something, like oil price or interest rate or FX and the underlying price went the other way. Example is they could have sold oil fwd in q4 when oil was lower and when the oil price went up they have a loss on the derivatives they used to ...more

How hard would it be for management to put out a straightforward document so that all of these questions would be easily decipherable and answered , they are simply dishonest and really who knows where the money went , zero mention of return of capital (ie50%) didn't even trot out the framework , hopefully a bump at some point soon to exit the name.

No wonder Eric is getting out .......,,,while we sit and wait others are actually making money it's just a matter of a trickle down. Who is going to hold managements feet to the fire if someone like Eric's find is not applying pressure. I am looking for the door on this my patience is spent here

At the very least one would expect a bump on the production update ~ 80% back in daily production! Again no one cares!

Loss on disposal of some assets and unrealised loss on hedging contract. Total of about $90 million in the quarter was the driver of this.
