As of March 28th, 2024 TVE was Ninepoint's 8th largest holding (out of ten), as per Ninepoint's website:
Ninepoint Energy Fund :: Ninepoint Partners LP And as per Investing.com website, they show Ninepoint's TVE holdings as their 3rd largest holding at 8.20% but it's not clear what the as of Holdings Date is:
Ninepoint Energy Fund Series A Fund Holdings - Investing.com Canada And then there's Yahoo Finance that's doesn't even show TVE as one of Ninepoint's top ten holdings.
....And so I ask, does anyone have an accurate CURRENT update of what amount/percentage of TVE shares Ninepoint currently holds? And with a link to that source.
I'm not sure when EN is next appearing on BNN but he needs to be asked the specific question of what percentage of TVE shares Ninepoint currently holds so that we can all determine if his fund is behind the more recent decline in TVE share price. I believe someone recently posted that Ninepoint sold off about 11 million TVE shares (of the approximately 50 million shares) they once held but it would be worthwhile knowing just how many TVE shares Ninepoint has sold off. TVE shares seem to be trading in a very tight range of .10 to .20 cents and so is it Ninepoint controlling TVE's share price (perhaps to help Ninepoint with their share buybacks) or some other entity?
Based on technicals, it appears that TVE share price is headed lower to around the $3.20 to $3.50 range before bottoming and heading above the $4 handle again and Ninepoint is more than capable of making this happen if they want to. Of course the price of oil will be the ultimate deciding factor as to how much lower TVE shares fall and you can bet the Biden administration will do everything they can to put a cap on oil prices leading up to the summer driving season and election and that includes more SPR releases if needed. A narrowing WCS spread will result in about $9 million for every dollar the spread narrows (according to the RBC analyst) so that will no doubt help going forward as the spread undoubtedly narrow in the coming months.
My opinion only, please DYODD.

I have a significant position in TVE and am looking to add more shares if they get down to the $3.20 to $3.50 range I'm expecting and after today's rather unimpressive Q1 earning release and their debt needle barely moving in Q1, many TVE investors are not impressed.
