Iran thoughts

Sorry, but I could not post a direct link for you. This is a Zero Hedge article today that you should read in order to get a better idea of the consequences of the coming Israel response:

Iran's High-Value Oil Assets In IDF Crosshairs As Israel Vows "Painful" Response

In particular, pay attention to Kharg Island terminal. It handles 75% of their exports, and the storage tanks there can hold more than 24m barrels of oil. A dozen missiles/bombs into that complex would cripple Iran's ability to export oil for many years.

Incidentally, a number of respected people (author of Hubert's Peak, for one, written two decades ago) feel that Iran may actually have more oil than Saudi Arabia. Why? Sanctions mean that Iranian oil fields have not been developed properly for the past 40 years, while the Saudis have steadily pumped 10m barrels a day for the past 40 years (roughly 145 billion barrels in total) without actually making any new finds. Gwahar, the biggest oil field ever found is not exceptionally big: it is about the size of the city of Chicago. It is just exceptionally thick. How much is actually left is a closely guarded Saudi state secret. It is far more likely that oil will be much higher a year from now than even a little bit lower. This is the time to hang on and wait.

Since no one, anywhere has any interest in calming things down, but would rather provoke and taunt their enemy I suspect that Israel's response is going to happen Friday, their worship day, during mosque time. Don't be surprised if a missile accidentally goes off course and hits a mosque. My opinion only.

Accidentally hit a mosque? The terrorist hide under hospitals. Seems a mosque would be another place for them to hide. They tried to sneak out of a mosque hiding under a burka pretending to a a muslim women. Didn't work. Shot dead.

Things change by the moment. The sun cut loose with an X9 solar flare this morning. GPS signals going to be off for a few days. We will see. Sorry if I bore some of you wiith Iran talk, but it impacts oil greatly.
