I've liked TVK for awhile now but I've hesitated because I believed it was heavily correlated to the oil and gas industry. Do you know what percentage of its business is tied to O&G and would likely be heavily impacted in the next oil downturn? TVK serves the oil & gas industry, but some of their service/products do have characteristics of repeat business in nature. For example ...more

Terravest weathered the storm during the oil market crash of 2014. It had reached an all time high by the end of 2015 when all the other oil stocks were plummeting in value.  I've always liked Terravest because the investment did not depend on the price of oil.
