Trading in and out at this point is probably not that wise.  Nor is harvesting all your gains.

I bought a small position in 2013 and have followed the company closely all that time. I was never tempted to add anymore shares until this year.  Because of the unfolding story, I have gradually tripled my position this year.  I plan on holding until it plays out. Coho, Cascadura, Chinook. Then Cascadura Deep and Royston.  No need to sell any now.  Just my opinion.

I guess it depends on how much money that one has here, as percent of total investment strategy. If you have all (or huge piece) of your money here, then I would agree that you better get some out and diversify.  But if you have all (or huge piece) of your money here in a microcap that has stagnated for years selling 1500 bbls of oil a day from old field with shallow tiny pools of oil - then ...more

Getting that gas to the end user maintains previously under threat jobs and will create more. So the politicians will be very keen to make it happen and take all the credit. Paul Baay will of course be invited to stand towards the back of the picture with the worthies at the front. But as long as he has the check in his pocket I doubt he will mind. Lol!

Hold on there, what just happened I agree with you! Sort of, always bank profits... old guy mantra sell half at a double and watch the house's money ride the river boat! But you have zero credibility mon ami. You pump AAV on another board but never post there but post 5 times a day here and call others trolls?!?! Your only post on Kelt in last 3 weeks was to pick on poor Pablo, to tell him ...more

I don't think there's anything fundamentally flawed with AAV or KEL or dozens of others that have decent reserves, cash flow etc. etc. but the problem as I see it is that those companies no longer appeal to the vast majority of Canadian or International investors. The Canadian market is a back water on the World stage and our oil patch is just a shell of what it used to be. You just have ...more

The only reason I would sell TXP would be if the fundamentals change for the worse, and so far since I bought it the risk/reward has only become better and more attractive and so I don't even think of selling at this point. TXP has been my best performing speculative stock  in the last 12 months with the result that it's percentage of my speculative portfolio is now taking up a much ...more
