Timeline delay and updates

It seems like a lot expects testresults from chinook in a few days.
Unfortenately that is a too aggressive approach. There have been some minor issues that have caused some delays. A truck from the testcompany broke down and a critical part missed in a boatload.
And they will probably report when all zones have been tested like they usually do.

I guestimate the tests from chinook to be ready near the end of January due to the mentioned issues.

Then they will proceed with the Cas deep test.

These delays will neither affect Coho operations nor the Royston spud.

After Royston the rig will be moved some 2 km south to the Stellhead prospect.

A second rig will probably be operational in Q3 drilling development wells at Cas and chin.

So they are being in different test equipment by sea? So does that mean they can test Chinook and Cascadura Deep fully in the way they couldn't previously because the historic equipment was too small for the job. If so then that's great news.

I thought it was the drilling equipment that was too small, as in " we ran out of pipe " or something like that, but the testing equipment too ? Don't remember that.

They maxed out the test equipment on flow rate last time iirc. Need to start using big boys kit instead of noddy toys that can't go deep enough or handle the flow from these beasts.

The testing on Cascadura was limited because the kit they used wasn't big enough to handle the huge gas pressures they hit there.  If you remember he said when they started testing the equipment immediately maxed out! So I was hoping they had imported some much bigger testing kit to accurately estimate of the size this time.  I suppose it won't be long either way and ...more
