wildcatter...other options?

I actually took Wildcatters advice and looked at AAV, bought at $1.80 average, selling most of my TXP along the way at just under $2 (ACB 22c, owned them since David Wright decamped from Lightstream).
As a knowledgable fellow what else do you like in this space, it does not appear that you comment anywhere other than TXP and AAV boards.

So you've incurred a capital gain on your TXP but as both stocks are the same price you're no further ahead but now have to pay the tax man. Doesn't sound like much of a win to me. The differance between AAV and TXP is AAV is driven by a change in the price of gas, it's a cyclical event which is driving most stocks of it's type in Canada. As we know cycles change and prices ...more

You are right that the TXP story is discovery driven, abd we wilkl get new data soon on two additional wells. The other difference is that these TXP discovery wells are conventional wells with reservoirs of overpressurized natural gas in sand sheets capped by good seals.  The 10mmcf shale wells in the Montney will produce at high level for a few months and even the best will have exponential ...more

I am not disputing the TXP narrative, although off take is not fully clarified. I am very familiar with the TXP story and as stated previously I have some TXP but a lesser amount. There are always good reasons to diversify, AAV and TXP are apples and oranges. Wildcatter with whom you are all obsessed appears well informed on gas plays in Canada and perhaps elsewhere, I did DD on AAV and happy with ...more

I hope you remember the idiocy was started by Wildcat, we were perfectly happy and still are holding TXP. We don't need to be lectured or ridiculed for holding the stock longer term. Sure throw an idea around but don't chastize the board because we don't agree. Thanks

Lol! Excellent post, but for the notion that Wildcatter is interested in a free flow of ideas. I also like uranium and have since 2012 when I made a pile with Patterson Lake and its original discovery by AMW. Should I head over to AAV and tell everyone there that I think I have found more juice in Sask's "apples" than Alberta's "oranges?" In a universe of trolls like WC ...more

Fantastic update, appreciate it. So if the pressures at Chinook aren't quite as extreme as they may be at Cascadura what does that mean for flow rates and future production, if anything ? Thanks
Comment by Margin321 on Mar 01, 2021 11:12pm
I don't think it means anything.  Pressures may be plenty high enough at Chinook but have not been measured. The zones are deeper for sure. So we really just have to see what is there. I was trying to make the point that the Cascadura Deep well clearly will be a prolific producing well, the vertical pipe was put into the same reservoir as Cascadura1 only 900 feet away and just like ...more

wildcatter... DO I HAVE TO GO BACK TO YOUR PRIOR POSTS? You have MADE LESS MONEY by switching to AAV than if you stayed with TXP.  That is based on your own posts... maybe you distort it in your mind... but that's not a WIN. SORRY. Please don't pat your back with lies...
