I read the news and I'm upbeat about the future and then I listen to Paul and I'm depressed. I've never heard a CEO spend so much time telling me not to get my hopes up because things may not go according to plan. We don't need to be warned about possible delays, we know well enough by now that T&T is the delay capital of the world, for goodness sake. How about talking about

And if Paul was always positive and didn't temper his enthusiasm with reality checks such as "if this well is commercial", or letting us know about possible delays etc, people would be criticizing him for not being truthful or realistic. He is simply being honest about the realities of this business. Will the zone they are testing at Chinook be commercial? Paul doesn't know at

I understand that but you can be cautiously optimistic too. Sometimes he seems to be giving us more caution than optimism. I'm worried that one day we'll get a takeover offer at $ 10 and he'll suggest $ 8 is plenty given... I'm not looking for Murry Pezim but I don't want Eeyore either. Hoping that as a result of this delay they'll try something dynamic at Chinook

They have given us the results of the first two zones they tested at Chinook. I assume they will release the results with each zone tested.  Paul knows what he can and can not say. We both know this. We both also know he is cautious so the best thing is to be patient and know how he works. We need patience.

Cautious PB except when it comes to timescales when he is wildly optimistic with a zero out of ten track record. The geology is no issue it's just getting the puck in the net, or at least doing so in line with his stated expectations.
