So does this mean results from the two oil zone tests and results from the first gaz zone test to be expected ? I'm a bit confused what this really means, they don't usually give this kind of worksite updates, but maybe they felt Paul been saying a few things that created some confusion on exactly where they are in the grand scheme of things here on the ongoing operations, four worksites

Paul has said they would publish as they go. At this stage, they should have the results from the lowest gas zone at casca ready. At Chinook the oiltest is ready and also the lowest gas zone should be ready when they update.  I would also expect an update regarding Coho and Royston. Hopefully tomorrow - at latest thursday.

At Chinook they only have one potential gas zone - the uppermost 341 feet.  The rest of the news from there is update on middle oil zone testing, essentially a science project to learn more about the geology of the block.  The lower water zone with trace of oil was plugged and abandoned very quickly.

Just listened to Paul again on Chinook and he's expecting " really interesting results " on the gas section but wasn't at all excited about the oil. They should be 5 days in to this test so...

As I understood it there might be two sheets at Chinook with gas in the lower and upper overthrusy sheets. In the lower sheet there is oil.at the bottom but potentially gas above and then the other thrust sheet higher still. 'Our extended production test will determine if this zone is commercial in Chinook-1 before we move up in the wellbore to our next test which we anticipate being a natural

Yea this is correct. PB continually talks about gas zones (plural) in all interviews since the oil test in the lower zone was confirmed. we will get results from three gas zones at Cascadura (two a slam dunk) and two zones at Chinook (one a slam dunk)  it is likely the gas sits on top of any oil zone in the lower Herrera sheets. Still confident on this zone too given the results from

I'm guessing there'll be a news release as early as tomorrow morning. I'm long TXP but after all of the delays I'm anticipating medicocre/somewhat negative news. I don't think we're at the bottom of the dip just yet but will soon start to climb out and the next few months will get us back on the rails. Fingers are crossed PB has positive news soon.
