Chinook - A Week in Review

Lurk & Learns:

Sometime(s) in the distraction of reaction  MAYBE so people only say what they want you to hear.

Case in point, last week, Eric Nuttall, made a significant disclosure on BNN's Market Call.

And in this call, his explanation for his purchase of ~4 mln shares @$1.75 what I heard that he said was,

"let's call it a dry hole, aka a duster" ; but that is what I heard after multiple replays.

Anyway, for the Lurk & Learns, still with me, why would Chinook be the "goat" that provided the opportunity to Eric Nuttall to buy (through Cormack??) and the shorts to cover.

Lets take a look at a POSSIBLE "paleo depositional stratiagraphic configuration" (aka a cartoon) to get a feel for a POSSIBLE drill bit deviation from the original TD (target destination). The following video might serve to illustrate what the terms UPDIP in an anticlinal system or an up or down faulted stratiagraphic trap.

In this case, neigher Lloyd Bridges or Jacques Costeau can help us to the perfect oil, gas or water interface/horizon. How could this possible happen? The how will take 60 - 90 days for (to their credit & creditability) for Slumberger & Baker Hugher to investigate and the O & G experts W\O experience to speculate. For my Lurk & Learns, the following video, on Petroleum Geology also relies on "experts" to provide a POSSIBLE explanation.

Petroleum Geology - vis a vis Chinook????

Now in this simplistic "section"  why would the Touchstone "experts" decide to follow a "duster" with two more holes UPDIP? Hmmmmmm, maybe it is because they might JUST know what the data (aka geo strata FACTS) is suggesting.

BWDIK? Eric Nuttall is a well respected Canadian analyst. He said that we could expect him to (incrementally) buy on a dip and took the plunge when the "cowboys" & "those uninformed experts" cratered the stock providing him the "pull back" he was hoping for.

GLTAL - GLAP + Caveat Emptor

Cheers
Stanley

Nuttall bought in on a down-dip, based on discoveries at Cascadura and Coho, and the hope for Royston, even while discounting the possibily of an up-dip rescue of Chinook.

Lurk & Learns: CAUTION: This is my own rant on what I see as an innocent decision with potential impact on/for the obviation of ten (10) years of PR "imbedded" in a document that is "precursor" to a decade of promise". i.e Something may have gotten lost in the translation. And again, I could be 100% wrong. Sometimes, I appear to be talking to myself, mostly ...more

Lurk & Learns: To those not the least bit interested in my rant are encourage to move on to the next post or even put me on ignore. CAUTION: Rant revisited....to explain the HR & PR filters that (may have missed) the possible origin of the naming of the "well in question" with the unintended consequences being the inadvertent alienation of an aggrieved segment of Trini ...more

Well Gaubine seems to be the irritant (or at least one irritant).  Also spelled Wabeen it seems to be a straightforward reference to a local fish (smallish compared to some of the other TXP fish). It must have some other meaning not related to fish.  There is a 2019 song on Amazon Music called Grog and Wabeen but I still think that is a reference to the fish, as in drinking the grog and ...more

Nice to read something that has an alternative view expressed in it too. Otherwise it's a club of self validating posters all with the same viewpoint and occasional trolls.

I believe they do... :)

Not really but I just listen intently and nod in agreement. I think I finally understand why we have so many delays and it's because our guys haven't mastered Trini yet, I mean can you imagine trying to put together a drilling contract or a pipeline deal in Trini/Stanley speak.  But it's all good, let's get crackin on Kraken !
