If you are friends with him check out his latest post talking about El Furrial field in Venezuela and comparing it and its geology to Kraken. Very interesting.

Lurk & Learns + Jake1444: The Geologic commonality of XM's T & T (Ortoire Block - Kraken) & ELFurrial can be further explained with a map showing the proximity. Google will provide many abstracts. Maybe I missed something but where is the reference to Kraken ?
Comment by Davidblackgreen on May 12, 2021 2:41pm
Kraken Cretaceous rock is older around -66m bc the Venezuelan oilfield more like -20m bc and a different geological epoch. Xavier should be wondering what happened to the gas that disappeared in Chinook before he starts daydreaming on how to crack Kraken.
Comment by jake1444 on May 12, 2021 11:28pm
And if he spent all his time on Chinook and didn't have the next prospects evaluated and ready for drilling, you would criticize him for not being ready.
Comment by Proselenes on May 13, 2021 12:23am
You do realise that gas and oil is actually there at Chinook ??  It has not "disappeared".  Firstly, gas will always flow before oil, it requires less permeabilty for gas to flow rather than oil. The company have informed you that its hydrocarbon bearing.  Xavier has done his job.  Now the question is.......is the formation a problem and the formation is not ...more
