A question to the wise. Does the oil find increase the...
chances of success for the gas component of Royston. The press release seemed to allude to this. And Paul, who has been careful since Chinook flop is touting Royston as a success. Thus were their additional factors that were uncovered by this success. Or is it just because having oil in the basement point to a material increase in the chances of success. Paul seems like a thoughtfull guy who doesn't want to burn investors and thus it seems the latest results has made him seem certain in Royston's success.

I can't answer your question but Royston is already a success. The question is how much better does it get.

Porosity gets better the higher up the well bore you go. So if you can flow oil at the bottom, where porosity is lowest, then you should be 99.9% certain you can flow easier gas higher up the well bore. So yes, it should be fairly certain that the 2 gas zones will flow - but lets wait for the results before celebrating again for the 2nd test and again for the 3rd test.
