Up to 90% water cut! Not good. This share price is going drop.

So from what I gather we will need Royston Deep to further evaluate the intermediate and sub thrust since this well was not optimally positioned for those intervals and obviously not deep enough to test sub thrust. They list 500' of potential pay for this well. So exciting upside here. Also sounds like our delay was in controlling flow in first test before moving up hole. So, if I am reading ...more

Lurk & Learns: As usual, I'll leave the technical analysis to others...especially those who confuse "down and up", i.e. those will be the ones emphasizing the "water cuts" not knowing the oil/water/gas demarcation lines....and will not agree that we can segregate the interval to maximize crude oil production....let the "market decide": Touchstone ...more

Stan, Pros, Margin - another sad day. The results don't matter here, only the optics - we were told large gas discoveries at chinook and royston, and we got nothing of the sort. The market hammered them for again getting it wrong, and also for the long delayed timelines we always see. Noone can trust this company or their news releases anymore, the only thing we can trust is concrete test ...more

I don't win daily. Sure it is disappointing but story still intact, though maybe we get less gas from the block han we previously thought, balanced by more oil. Still likely a buying opportunity, but alway miserable to have a buying opportunity that drags on and on. Temptation is always to bail. Sometimes but not always that is a good plan. I am choosing o believe that in this case that would ...more

I agree with your sentiments. What is interesting, and a little concerning, is that they cannot determine whether they are hitting oil or gas. TXP is batting 1000 here. If they think it is oil, it is gas. If they think it is gas, it is oil. Can somebody please explain? I asssume the technology exists to better assess a well that what TXP is using. On a positive note, TXP continues to find ...more
