Boxing Day sale extended to January

I guess this is what happens when management over promises and under delivers. I would hope we can somehow bounce back in 2022. Good luck to patient shareholders

Yeh not a good start to 2022 hopefully no watercut rumours circulating from the extended test. Never though water would be such a curse word. Oh well lots of good news coming this year just have to be patient

That thought occurred to me too.  Hope not too. Remeber that I prayed not to have the word water in the report of the third Royston test. Was not answered.

Water production is a given in essentially all oil pools. Lets not get so focused on water that we forget the oil production. As long as the oil production is good, lets move on from this topic. Good grief people.

The problem is that first they thought it would be gas, then it was supposed to be the best oil well that PB has ever seen in 35 years. It then turns out to be water with some oil in it. Not very reassuring. I simply wish management will deliver in 2022.

Obviously very few people here have actually worked in the oilfield. Otherwise they wouldn't be making such a big deal of this. Water is something that is in oil zones. It is dealt with every day all over the world. As long as there is a decent amount of oil, then Royston will be a producer. Seems everyone here is looking for a the perfect scenario..."5000 barrels of oil per day test with ...more

really, you know this? horizontals huh? well  seeing as the deepest zone has such a deep productive reservoir why bother, they can get plenty of drainage from depth alone, no?   they never have drilled one horizontal and I suspect have zero ability to drill a deep horizontal well..but given the depth of the zone any fool ,should be able to keep the string within it. regarless of ...more

Wrong. High salinity salt water is very easy to process, it's done daily and is an expected by-product of oil production. Actually 100's of millions of barrels of salt water are produced every day around the world whether it's Saudi arabia, Brazi,l US, Russia etc...it's a given. Most production equipment is built for it. It is separated and injected back into the reservoir for ...more
