A question to the wise re: casandra development

wells. Are they guiding to bring on two development wells in 2022. If so what is the expected production from these wells. 30 mmcf each? And with how much condensate? Given the size of the reserves are these wells expected to remain flat for the next number of years.
Thanks in advance.

I've been wondering about development wells too. I don't recall anything mentioned lately about a timeline. However we do know the Casc surface facilities are only sized for 90mmscf/ day initially (but pipeline is sized for 200mmscf/day. That makes me think one development well at 30mmscf/day might be possible (I might be wrong but think the existing wells at Cas are about 30mmscf each).  ...more

Casandra one of my favorite ancient figures. She had the dual curse that she could fortell the future (including the future sacking of Troy by the Greeks) but also that no one would ever believe her.  So it sort of fits with Cascadura.  We know it is a TCF monster but one believes us. ABBA (one of those guys was a classics scholar) did a beautiful B side tune that is one of my favorite ...more

"Sorry Cassandra, I didn't believe You really had the power I only saw it as dreams you would weave Until the final hour" Cascadura is a massive gas discovery that willproduce for many years and will provide a wall of cash that will fund the growth of TXP into a major on-shore oil and gas producer on Trinidad. Paul keeps telling everyone that. If they don't believe  ...more

One final comment, just to be fair.  I do have high conviction in TXP, but I am not always right.  And I do not expect all my speculative high risk/high reward picks (of which this is one) to come through in the end. Some of them go belly up when the story falls apart and goes south. But a minority of these picks have come through as I thought they would and they have added nicely. I ...more

Sorry to burst your bubble margin but what you're saying makes little sense re covid. Vaccines seem to make people MORE susceptible to omicron; nearly all jabbed people I know have had it recently. And because you've recently had it does not mean you won't catch it or pass it on. You've been had.

Hard to even answer that. Stick to your area of expertise.  Where you have actual training and experience. Because internet cruising will get you into very weird thinking. John Kennedy is not returning to Dallas. Bottom line - omicron (as other coronavirus variants) are deadly. Vaccine is highly effective. All you have to know.

LOL you're making assumptions about my expertise. I have a Biology Ph.D.
Comment by Margin321 on Feb 06, 2022 12:36pm
spawny:  I am mighty surprised. Congratulations. Most Ph.D programs in biology have extensive training in statistics and data analyis. The idea that vaccines increase the susceptibility to omicron has a clear and proven point source, was covered by Fox the next day and then was quickly amplified by 1000 on FB. It is not true and it  is not accepted by your peers with Biology Ph.D's. ...more

LOL and you think what you've posted from "fact checking" sites debunks what I posted? It doesn't. There are various hypotheses for the apparent negative vaccine effectiveness found in that study from Danish data. But nobody has comprehensively and cinvincingly "debunked" it. Yes you're right my data analysis and statistical abilities are pretty good. But I'll ...more

Sadness, now on ignore. Do you think it was honest of you not to point out that the garbage you posted was from a January 6 bogus newsletter by a prime (even notorious)  vaccine denier picked up by Fox and shuttled of to all the bs websites.  And your data analysis and statistical abilities (like his) are lacking. Are you a fishery guy?  Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Why ask questions if I'm on ignore? Seems silly.

A d you'd do better to try to debate without the smears, strawmen and ad hominem attacks. Many people these days seem completely incapable. You're assuming incorrectly that I get my information from Alex Berenson, Fox News and conspiracy sites. I try to go to original sources whenever possible and I went to the original paper this time (link below). There certainly was evidence of possible ...more
