Long term focus

First time poster.  First invested in Wright, Ruttman, Baay group in 2003 with Petrobank, then Petrominerales, Lightstream and finally Alvopetro & Touchstone.  20x, 30x return on Petro's, bankruptcy on Lightstream.  Basis is $.40 on Alvopetro that is now paying 6.8% dividend and $.20 initial basis on Touchstone. Quite a track record this group has in tough industry while working in Canada, Columbia, Brazil & Trinidad. Understand the frustration with missed projections, but a pretty incredible track record.  Don't understand the bashing of Touchstone and Baay.  This is not a short term proposition, but long term type of play.  All things pointing toward long term success for shareholders. I will keep the faith.  As Stanley says, GLTAL.

I like Paul Baay but still have those Lightstream Blues (PTSD lasts a long time) and do not fully trust Wright. Did it not annoy you that Lightstream went BK (after encouraging words about cash flow easily covering debt service) and then came out of BK by taking it private as Ridgeback Resources with same management. Wright and friends stayed whole but shareholders got zero. That is business but

Parallel experience with you and Davidmorrill. Made out like a bandit on Petrobank and Petrominerales, then kept averaging down on Lightspeed, held on for a couple of years but was totally wiped out. Can't forgive that on the other hand although morally corrupt DW was not stupid so I tiptoed into Touchstone (ACB 22c) and recovered my losses that way. PTSD would be a good symbol for a Canadian
