TT Guardian Article re TXP's Interest in the 2022 Bid Round

Lurk & Learns:

An early scan of the UK boards (ADVFN LSE) does not report the latest on the 2022 competitive bid round. i.e. a Google (of Trinidad Guardian Touchstone) provided/produced PB's recent exchange with the Guardian Reporter Curtis Williams.

Touchstone Updates the TT Guardian on the 2022 Bid Round

Meaning, while the PPS pull back might be a victim of global (colleteral sp, indiscriminate selling allegedly re sector rotation sentiment) market pull back, Touchstone's LONG GAME appears to be intact chugging (or chipping in Trini spaek) along.

Bottomline is T & T is a niche (fixed price gas) market with the state owned NGC, and oil with state owned Heritage.

In addition the geo political tensions (vis a vis Opec+,/Saudi Arabia, Ukraine/Russia, Europe, UK, and US midterms) despite the recent recessionary whispers might just be moot to the Atlantic Trains and the Phoenix Business Park (Point Lisas)

BWDIK? PSEUDO NR's ? Trini's Guardian & Express newspapers might just have snippets of positivity for TXP going foward (say 6 to 12 months). i.e. where the patient MUST revisit a long time investing addage, "it's a marathon not a sprint" as we review the 2022 Bid Blocks YouTube of the NGC Pipeline Network On Offshore/Onshore Pt Galeota to Claxton Bay.

And what that implies (or not) for the paleo depositional sequence and subsequent tectonic restructering/reconfiguring. Kraken, Legacy Lands, etc.

GLTAL GLAP Caveat Emptor

Cheers

Lurk & Learns: Now with Coho first gas a reality and Cascadura (sometime) H1 2022 some might want to focus on transition deliverables. This might even include the 2022 Bid Round "Lottery?" For those who play/once played wea wea, the Queens Missing Ball and can name the successful Trinis for Miss Universe & Miss World contestants, might, just might want to try their hand at ...more

I was going to take the three that share at the least a small contiguous boundary with Ortoire.  Guayaguayare and Cipero (big connections to Ortoire) and St. Mary's (tiny connection to Ortoire. But St. Mary's and Cipero and also Tulsa are clearly in the Herrera Fairway.  Guayaguayare would be interesting only if it has some deep cretaceous prospects similar to Kraken. And only ...more

St. Mary's block is also interesting because it essentially surrounds the Cory Moruga block which TXP holds some interest in as newly emphasized on slide 12 of the September corporate presentation.  Not only surrounds it but also would extend that acreage right  to Ortoire block and really capture big additional chunk of the Herrera Fairway.

Lurk & Learn + Margin 321: Sometimes we may want to think "outside the box". Meaning if we revisit a 2013 presentation by XM one might be tempted to (re)consider a block to the south west to be of potential interest. i.e. the (lack of) (sub) urban sprawl in the SW might get the nod over (higher density) of the ribbon trend of the contiguous block(s) on the northern flank of the ...more

Stanley:  Are you talking about the Buenos Ayres or SW Peninsula OnShore blocks.  I cannot remember XM talking about those blocks but I am sure he has deep knowledge. They are not in the Herrera fairway. The St. Mary's block seems very interesting and is to  the south west of the ortoire block, on trend but not on the northern flank. Maybe Cory D and Cory F have some promise but ...more

Margin 321: Like the PB reasoning for TXP inclusion of (INTEREST IN based on XM's suggestion) Kracken I'm speculating that Buenos Ayres or other SW Peninsula block might also be a "long shot" or nort based on XM's paleo depositional reconstruction as presented while was with his predecessor - Petrotrin; but hey a wild cat in petro parlance might just justify a look into ...more
