Follow Up For Maroon

Maroon, we get you don't like Miller!  On the Forbes slate, he is 1 of 7 with the other 6 being head and shoulders above the Ursa slate.  This biggest problem with Ursa is total lack of operational experience and the Forbes slate hammers this issue with world class talent (ex Falconbridge and X Strata in Sudbury area.)  Please tell us your thoughts on how the Forbes slate would result in inferior performance to the Ursa slate that has sat on their hands for years?
A cogent non personal argument would be interesting.

sumsg200 - I see you're a new member of Stockhouse Bullboards as of today.May I ask why you decided to join up? Are you supporting the current Ursa Major board? If you are here with an open mind, be aware that RS is an excellent geologist and operator who has brought the Shakespeare mine into production through some of the hardest times in NA markets since the great depression. He is also a ...more

Throughmud,I couldn't agree with you anymore regarding RS,  and that is why I believe you will more than likely see much more dilution than ever if these guys get hold of UMJ; not to mention all the options and perks for the very select few. If you have the time, read over Randy Millers Golden Parachute Package from ISM, that he somehow convinced the board to agree on. It will absolutely ...more

throughmud,It may well be that the new member has an agenda in stating that six of the seven on the Forbes & Manhattan slate are head and shoulders over the URSA slate. Actually it involves five of the seven, as one person is on both slates. I'm not about to accept the opinion of a new poster who makes these claims, without any substantiation as to why these five are superior to the URSA ...more

Dear Sums,I am against any deal in which CEO RANDY MILLER is a member.  He has misled investors of ISM for years - IMHO. I am amazed that those gentlemen would sit on a proposed Board with his background.   His Securities violations in British Columbia are grounds enough in my opinion.  I can not speak for UMJ Shareholders. About your Officers and Board.   At ...more

Indeed, victor, maroons, it's a pleasure (and it's very useful) to have your experience and insights into the exploration and mining acumen of player(s) in the invasive organization.  RS and his group have well proven themselves, through the inception and continued development of Ursa Major, as successful explorationists and miners.mud

Throughmud,The whole genesis of this "Slate of Directors" being force fed down UMJ's throat is that the clock is ticking on ISM.The company has blown $60,000,000 in capital just trying to prove L1 and L2 had an amount of economically obtainable Nickle.   Now,  less than $ 9,000,000 is left for the CEO RANDY MILLER ..... AKA ...."DAVID RANDALL MILLER" for ...more

Throughmud, I don't question  RS as a GEO but that is not where we need horsepower going forward.   UMJ is now a fully operational mining entity where RS is trying, through third parties, to manage by remote control from King Street.  We have no operational expertise in our tent and further, no gravitas to secure a renewal on our Xstrata milling agreement  that is still not ...more

Newbie: I cannot trust any effort that arises from within Inspiration Mining or associated with Miller. Stage one and stage two of the attempted "takeover" of URSA Major were representative dismal failures. Inspiration Mining, as an exploration and development company, by all reasonable measures seems to be a failure. Despite that Miller seems to be thriving. Now, a renewed takeover ...more
