URSA Major Minerals' reports board member resignations
Toronto, ON - URSA Major Minerals Incorporated ("URSA Major" or the "Company") (TSX:UMJ) today announces the resignations of Maura Lendon, Martez Moore and Riyaz Lalani, who were all appointed as directors this past year.

Dr. Richard Sutcliffe, URSA Major Minerals' President and CEO stated, "The latter half of 2011 posed many challenges to URSA Major and we regret the resignation of Maura, Martez and Riyaz. We look forward to working with the current board of directors to advance our strategy including the development of the Shakespeare Nickel-Copper Mine, and building value in the URSA properties in Ontario.

We thank the resigning directors for their contributions over the past six months and wish them all the best with their future endeavours."

The URSA Major board consists of, Amar Bhalla, CFA, ICD.D, Chairman, Ross Arnold, Trevor Anderson P.Eng., Keeheum Shin and Richard Sutcliffe, Ph.D., P.Geo.
