Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets All Cap Index ETF T.VEE

The investment objective of Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets All Cap Index ETF (the ETF) is to track, to the extent reasonably possible and before fees and expenses, the performance of the FTSE Emerging Markets All Cap China A Inclusion Index (the Index). The Index is a market capitalization-weighted index representing the performance of large-, mid- and small-capitalization stocks from advanced and secondary emerging markets. To achieve its investment objective, the ETF employs a passive management, or indexing, investment approach designed to track the performance of the Index by investing primarily in a U.S.-domiciled fund managed by The Vanguard Group, Inc hat seeks to track the Index.

Can you recommend a few international ETFs that don't have US exposure and some that include it as part of their holdings?

The decision of developed or emerging markets needs to be based on investor's goals. We think some exposure to both is fine, but the latter can be very volatile, especially considering currency moves. One ETF we like is VIU, which is a non-North American ETF. VXUS is 'total international' ETF that excludes the US. VEA has fees of only 0.05% (no US 22% Japan, 9% Canada). VT is a 'total world market' ETF with 60% US exposure. VEE is one of our favourites for emerging markets. For general market exposure we do lean towards Vanguard fund for their high liquidity and industry-low fees. (5iResearch)
