If you physically do not own the shares to your name and you have bought from a wholesale brokerage their title owner is not you. Plus trading is handled through dark pools which you have no control over. What the impact is that a higher volume of shares will be listed for sale at a higher price that has no effect on the daily trading. You broker may not accept this practice because of that.& ...more
