Seamus O'Reagan talking tough over line 5 .Where were the liberals on Energy East ?
Energy east would have provided back up security not only for Ontario And Quebec but also for the Maritimes . Now Canadians can see for themselves the utter stupidity of Liberal energy policy. Maybe even Quebeckers will get another reminder as their farmers already had a taste when propane shipments by rail were blocked during fall 2019 during the coastal gas link fiasco.
Energy policy should be in the hands of pragmatists and not dewy eyed idealists !!

Yeah, the Energy East situation would have put Canada in the drivers seat for supplying domestic demand, PLUS would have provided another outlet for export.  Remember who it was who killed the project... Eastern Canadian interests, and the Liberal government.  They just kept making TransCananda jumo through more hoops until TRP threw in the towel. Seamus O'Regan's tough talk ...more
