Backwardation

By its very nature , backwardation should be a very shortlived phenomenen in a freely trsded market. The higher current prices should pull barrels out of storage and onto, the market. Especially triue in periods of low seasonal demand for Crude. Why is thid not happening? IMHO because the fiutures market is contrived and the industry is holding back barrels as they look forwad to the very constructive environment ahead.
. Hold on to VET or regret it !!

I agree Oldnagger... this pull back gives the MA's a chance to catch up.. and a better entry point for the continuation of a sector rotation.. now add in the March fund adjustments expected this week I'd say anyone interested would want to be looking at entry points before Friday.. ;-) JMHO..
