Consolidation is gonna explode

With cashflows this high and prices this cheap, consolidation will start sooner or later. Lots of oil companies are drowning in cash. I wonder if its cheaper to drill or buy? Has anyone done the math?

that's a good question mnztr.  the follow-up is: should VET buy back shares or buy another property or company.

Why would'nt VET start buying up some shares at these prices? Sure pay down debt and buys shares and sell down the road when stock is at $30.00 thus paying down even more debt.

Because they have a lot of debt and interest is a fixed cost. But equity is free.
