Seeing that production from DUC's is now less than half of the production from new rigs, by my calculations there will,need to be a 20% increase in oil rigs to make up the declining production from existing DUC's. This is significant for North America but much less so on a global basis where almost 90 % of crude will be produced going forward. For now, the big news I believe is that Covid ...more
