oil breaking out .. (post on IV)

Crude technical breakout

This isn’t going to surprise anyone given the news but oil has broken to the upside at an important time. We would have revisited the 80s if not lower but for the developments of the Dobass region.
Still downward pressure risk due to the imminent signing of the JCPOA but that will probably be overshadowed by the Eastern European conundrum. If in the small chance that the JCPOA revival is derailed, even temporarily, then we would have more fuel added to the crude fire.

Question is, are euroopeans gonna sanction themseleves over this? If they take Russian energy out of their economies, they will not only screw themselves, but Ukraine as well. But it WILL drive gas prices in Europe far far higher.
