Correction tomorrow

If the unhappy campers on this BB are anything to go by, there will be a sell-off tomorrow. Investing is not for the impatient. Wake me up in December when we will be getting close to $50 IMO

Good, more cheap shares to be accumulated by the rest of us under the NCIB !! But seriously, this is why I always say to do your due diligence not only before you buy but also before you sell . Start by looking at the cash flow being generated .

Sure, and then what to do with all of that FCF??

Normally , companies try to re-invest it profitably, if no profitable ventures are available, then pay down debt, buyback shares or pay dividends. The wonderful thing these days is that there all sorts of very profitable ways to invest by acquisition and drilling Both of which can lead to astounding future returns !!

Ya I wasn't expecting a whole lot to be honest -- as I said here earlier about " bar being set too high". If anything, for me, I was disappointed seeing the debt pretty much unchanged on a large scale. As I said...I expect 2023 and beyond to see much improvement. If not....time re-consider my position amount in VET because I DON'T see commodity prices falling off a cliff within ...more

You think you will be $50 in December, keep dreaming. The only way to a premium valuation is to give the shareholders back THEIR money. There is a reason this turd trades at a FCF yield of 40%, the cheapest by far.

Vet is cheap because future cashflows will be going to acquisitions, not shareholders. It's the same deal with Whitecap. The names that are cheap, are cheap for a reason. There are no free lunches.

Raymond James came in at $40! Great news for long term shareholders! Wait for the noise to pass to then trade to suit your own needs....

Sure took a long time to balance the bid/sell orders this AM for some reason.. although I would have liked a better divi.. the long term trend is still intact.. just a bit longer for us shareholders.. no big deal.. don't need the money for rent.. LOL..

As I suspected yesterday with my comments on a pull back today. It just didn't --- or hasn't yet --- decline as much as I thought it would. I don't need the money either but I'm ready to buy a bit more on the dips. I expect the decline to continue Monday as well. The usual 3 day pattern.
