That's what you get when you elect a leader who is tone deaf when it comes to  business and economics.  He is the poster child for the anti fossil fuel constituents but for the rest of us,  a dangerous sabatouer of Canadian opportunities.  Continually passing up on creating wealth for Canada and Canadians is beyond stupidity,  its pathological and suicidal.   Yet ...more

And that's what you get when the millions that keep voting for him are also tone deaf. Birds of a feather. Popularity by looks and hairdo. The budget will look after itself.

I really despise Trudeau for many reasons but his statement is correct!  There has never been a strong business case for Canada to invest in the infrastructure required to send LNG to Europe via Quebec or ellswhere in Canada. Europe chose to buy off of Russia instead of Canada and where are they now? Better get the long Johns and thermal blankets ready Europe. Winter is coming...

Oil and gas could have given us all the doctors, artificial hips, smooth roads and social benefits we all dream of but we prefer to follow billionaires who put their money in green energy, and native leaders who, as always, are suckered in by them and our oil producing competition.

I just wish more people of the Cdn electorate could see the false ideaology for what it is and what it isn't.  Trudeau  stubbornly continues to cling to a narrative despite other countries laughing behind his back including our neighbour to the south who is one of the biggest proponents of "green" but has had to temper that vision with a hard  dose of reality.
