Special Divvy could be any day now.
What's the spot price now of European NAT Gas?
Oil going up to 150+ from here then deep recession but the cashflow won't stop for oil & gas producers!

Very unlikely there will be any "special divy" any time soon. First VET has to pay for the Corrib share it is buying from Equinor. Any spare cash on the books will be used to pay off Corrib, and pay down the core debt. Unlikely anything will happen until after the Corrib deal closes, whcih may not be until Q4.

Divy increases or special dividends pay-outs won't happen until 2023 imho. There are issues VET has to deal with like TVR mentioned. The increase payouts are done for this year imo. On that note....quite surprised we're having another green day today ( Friday) Wow. Anyone getting the panic sweat for profit taking ?? Are you getting trigger happy lol?

can anybody explain what is holding up the closing of the Corrib deal. VET has been getting credit for the cash flow since January 1, 2022 but closing still outstanding? Is this all regulatory nonsense ??

I think we'll see another 2 pennies on the base dividend for Q4 in the Q3 announcement.. and agree its next year before we see any "special" divi's.. I'll take the daily increases in the mean time and be happy with that.. ;-)

Fed Chairman Powell came out with dour and dire words in his speech a short time ago re inflation - which Biden says it's getting better - and the DOW is now down over 780 points taking TSX down over 260.
