VET is so well positioned that the,,,,

Socialist EU government wants to tax/extort VET. 

Not a reason to sell your shares.

Companies have ways of pushing back on government overeach and the oil producers are very powerful just look at Russia and Ukraine.

For every action their is a reaction!

Politicians are stupid and nearsighted baffoons.

Oil & Gas to rise sharply starting next week.

Ya...if VET's properties are going to cost them a fortune. Maybe they should consider bailing out of Europe. I know their European division is very profitable but....

Yeah, I don't understand.  If VET was making 1/2 as much as it was now pre-pandemic it would be in great shape paying its usual divivdend still and all would be well.  Now that it is making double what it needed to thrive nicely you would like to give up on two thirds of the profit because the EU wants one third?  That is throwing the baby out with the bathwater.  To put ...more

Well said Duke. I think the law of unintended consequences may come back to bite the EU in the a$$. I bought more today because I have more faith in VET than in politicians. GLTAL
