I agree this inquest is a joke. Freeland is babbling away about why it was necessary, because of the slowdown possibly hurting Canada's economy 
 Now please I'm not a racist but I find it very strange that a few years ago,  our country was brought to it's knees by the great railroad blockade.
 As far as I know, that was never brought up in all the recent softy questions put forth. What was the difference in these protests. Oh I know, it didn't seem to bother our DRAMA QUEEN LEADER as much as the truckers protest. LTA

The railroad blockade didn't block borders and was internal. The Whitehouse was not calling about the railroad blockade. You agree with who?  Your post is the only one in the thread. GLTA

I agreed with VeritasVern (poster), my point being the blockade at the borders were over before the act was implemented . The internal railroad blockade was more harmful to our economy than the border blockade IMHO. Yet, our federal government would not do a thing to stop it  unlike calling the truckers terrorists.  Anyway this isn't the forum to discuss politics, especially when ...more

Yeah I am not a closet Liberal.  I have no reason to hide and if you don't want to discuss it then don't bring it up. The border blockades wern't over and both Kenney and Ford asked for Federal help even though they are the ones hiding in the closet now. The railroad blockade hurt the economy but not international trade.  It was the American economy that was getting hurt ...more

I really feel sorry for the bubble dwellers in Ottawa, it's about time they got a taste of the real world. JT invokes War Measures act to sate his precious little enclave.
