US never seen such a winter storm in last 40 years.... It is a very bad combination of storm plus depleted oil reserves. Now we have to see whether Biden will be able to fill back his screwed up SPR cheaper or even at much higher than ever prices .... that is north of $100.

Looking at the absolute SPR volumes is misleading due to the type of oil in the inventory and what is preferred  by refiners. They dont like the high "sour" grades with high sulphor content which makes up a significant amount.
