Windfall taxes
As I listen to some posters drone on about windfall taxes,A question arises, Do posters fail to make the connection between the imposition of these taxes and the political mindset that exists at the present ??
Nowhere is that same mindset more prevalent than in Canada at present.
Amongst many examples , one that is becoming increasingly persistent is Liberal party censorship and suppression of dissenting opinions. This is now happening on Stockhouse and no one is more aware of that than yours truly. One particular poster here will argue that he has the right to censor me. He does not (nor to censor anyone else for that matter). To cede that right to him is to cede our fundamental values.
It is only those values that elevate mankind above the baseness of the present day autocrats.
I no longer have any ilusions, this post will undoubtedly be taken down as being off topic
You be the judge !!

There are so many examples of policy initiated by Trudeau which run counter to the economic well being of the Canadian Petroleum industry , that I could spend all evening enumerating them (and for which I would be surely banned ) If you are trying to fool yourself, it seems to be working, as to the rest of us on stockhouse , not so much !!

Yet oil production is up 25% tmx was nationalized bay du nord was approved and lng canada is on its way. The govt does not just focus on oil. Its about 5% of gdp. The govt has to make policy for all of canada not just ab.
