Nuttal Sold

BNN Eric says he sold because of the tax issues in Europe.

Ya.. a bit of double talk from Eric today.. last time he was on he said the WFT was already priced in and thought the stock was oversold and still had good metrics for FCF going forward.. not to mention the gas prices before the tax even cuts in is far higher than the NA prices.. wouldn't surprise me to see him buying it back.. ;-)

Worst kept secret.  The only logical explanation for the sudden drop in VET share price to start 2023 was Nuttal selling

Like I said before. He's a flip flopper.....pump and dumper. I don't take anything he says seriously. I wouldn't give my money to him.  And why is he always on BNN and no other energy analyst?

Every once in a while Rafi Tamazian (SP?) is on. He doesn't usually go into depth on individual stocks as he's not in a setting that's open to public questions/discussion.

Aside from Nuttall (and occasionally Tahmazian) the only other analyst who covers the energy patch pretty much exclusively is Josef Schachter. But his appearances on BNN have been very sporadic over the past few years (ie. April 2022, June 2021). He also called for lower oil which hasn't been correct. GLTA

Shubham Garg of White Tundra Investments is not an Investment Advisor. Better yet he is an individual who focuses and cares about investments in our sector. He has made many long and detailed videos on the Canadian Petroleum sector . He does not cover Vermilion as they have an international scope . Yet if readers  do not already know of him and if they are invested elsewhere in this sector ...more

A pump and dumper benefits from an uptick. The timng when Nuttall bought and sold indicates a large loss.  His explanation on BNN for selling was the uncertainty of taxes and yet the reason he bought was even with the taxes they were making wheel barrels of cash.  Bottom line is his stop loss order kicked in and he had nothing to do with it.  His fund probably dropped the stock by ...more

Exaclty!  He saw a devalued share price  that he thought he could ride up for a gain but the WFT became more than any of us thought and he had to cut his losses. Would he have pumped and dumped.  Probably LOL.  As it is he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar which can and has happened to the best of us.  Those "told you so" posters are the worst kind of ...more
